LET'S GET IT RIGHT Have you noticed how sly the devil is? He is pictured as “. . . the devil, (who) prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (I Peter 5:8). Now, we would surely take notice of such a creature when he came roaring into our lives, but sometimes he doesn’t roar; he just slips thoughts into our minds, usually in the form of temptations. The devil has numerous schemes and we are often unaware that he is the guilty culprit behind those schemes. Paul describes the devil’s sneak attacks in this way: “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11). Read more...
